SOLAR ECLIPSE 2023

Scientists have predicted a full solar eclipse on 20 April 2023.

In less than a year, Coral Bay will be in the direct path of the moon’s shadow and one of the best places to experience this incredible event and view the full eclipse.

Please be aware that both our Bayview and Backpacker accommodation is already fully booked over this period, however if you are lucky enough to have already secured accommodation for this time, you are in for a rare treat.

When viewing the eclipse, remember to protect your eyes and never look directly at the sun, but use binoculars, telescope or even a simple pinhole projector instead.
